CHIPOTLE - CHICKEN TACOS
Chipotle is another consistent chain restaurant, although every once in a while you get lucky and have a person with a heavy hand making your food. Sometimes they are skimpy with the meat, but other times you can tell that you have a sympathetic employee who knows that the amount of meat he or she is told to give customers is not cool.
In the past I had an experience where I ordered tacos and one of the tacos had 3 tiny cubes of chicken on it. I brought it to the employee’s attention and she gave me the look of death and as a “fuck you very much” gesture, added 1 more piece to my taco before adding the rest of the items. Not cool. Luckily, that person did not make my tacos in Chicago.
The thing about Chipotle is that they use a lot of seasoning in their meat. It’s really noticeable with the chicken, which I think is the hottest of their meats. On this day I felt like I wanted a little spicy kick so I ordered some chicken tacos. Even with the sour cream to cool them down they still burned my mouth towards the end. It wasn’t painful, just slightly uncomfortable and very familiar. Something I was sure I was going to experience again, probably in the next few days.
