Honorable Mention - No Picture

Yesterday we played the Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT.  The show was fun even though we were all zombies from the previous night, and we were also looking forward to a day off at home.  All things considered, Harris said we sounded great.

There was a guy with a hot dog cart right next to our bus.  I am not afraid of street meat, so I got a red hot sausage for myself and a hot dog for my brother Richie.  My sausage was not good.  I felt like I was biting into a deep fried crayon with bits of cartilage and small bones, like bones of a sardine.  It actually had no flavor of its own but the first bite immediately gave me heartburn.  Street Meat 1, Me 0.

A smart man would have stopped there and sworn off the hot dog cart, but Richie said his dog was good, so we went for round two.  This time I got a straight up hot dog with sauerkraut and mustard.

Yup, it hit the spot.  Street Meat 1, Me 1.  We are even yet again.
